Happy Hanukkah to any Jewish readers who might stumble across my post today!
Christians are usually aware that Jesus was a Jew, but many of us don’t often think about what that might have meant to Jesus’ daily life. Did Jesus celebrate this special time, too?
John 10:22-23 says, “Then came the Feast of Dedication at Jerusalem. It was winter, and Jesus was in the temple area walking in Solomon’s Colonnade.”
Another name for this commemorative feast (according to my internet research) is Hanukkah. Jesus was Jewish, and the Bible says many times that he worshiped at the temple in Jerusalem on the special feast days.
If you wonder, like me, what exactly Hanukkah is and why it is celebrated, you might also enjoy this post I found to help me learn more about it.

Blessings to all during this holiday season!
Thank you for sending this and also the reference to the blog. I grew up with several Jewish friends and remember being invited to one home for dinner at Hanukkah. I only knew about the first reason for the 8 day celebration so it was interesting to read the blog.
Have a great day!
