Sonja Anderson’s “Luna Crane, Papa Plane” is a tale of a young whooping crane, which is migrating to Florida with her family for the first time. Mama teaches Luna and her siblings how to fly in a V and, after some practice, they are soon on their way to sunny Florida. But what will the young cranes do when disaster strikes? Will Papa Plane save the day? And will Luna and her siblings make their mother proud?

  2. Bill Breakey says:

I don’t want to sound like a Hallmark card, I wake up every day and I think, “I’m breathing! It’s going to be a good day.” I can only imagine that past waking up and breathing, having one’s book cover revealed makes for a very special day. Congratulations, Sonja!

  3. Susan Redhed says:

I love the cover of your book, Sonja! Darned exciting! Love, Sue

  4. Debbi says:

How can we buy this Sonja?

    • Hi Debbi! Thanks for your question!

I don’t have a release date yet, so I will post that, and details on how to buy it, from my website and Facebook, when I get the information. I think I’ll be able to have a link from my website directly to the publisher’s store, and you can always go to when it becomes available.

This book will be published as an interactive e-book, which is great for all those kids using iPads and smart phones, but the rest of us will have to wait for Bon Voyage, Sophie Topfeather (my middle-grade novel about a great horned owl) for a book we can hold in our hands. That one comes out on March 1st!
