Happy New Year!

Leavenworth trees

My family and I enjoyed some wintry fun in Leavenworth, Washington, this past week.

We are usually there in the summertime on the way home from our annual camping trip, so it was fun to be there at Christmastime when they light up the town with over a million lights!

Many thanks to my daughters, Stephanie and Amanda, for their contributions to the blog this year as guest readers for the Bible story audio clips on “Wednesday’s Word.” You’ll hear more from them again soon!

I wish you God’s loving presence and much joy in 2014!
